2024 Primary Calendar and Rules Updates for June 19 -- South Carolina & the US Virgin Islands

So much for a sleepy Father’s Day weekend with a federal holiday tacked onto the end of it.

The DNC Rules and Bylaws Committee gathered last Friday to begin review of state party delegate selection plan submissions for 2024, and elsewhere, there were consequential decisions made that will have significant impacts on how the remainder of the primary calendar comes together over the remaining months of 2023.

FHQ will return to the DNCRBC meeting in a subsequent post, but let’s discuss the calendar tremors that reverberated over the rules landscape over the weekend. There is a lot to look at.
