A weekend last week that began with a DNC Rules and Bylaws Committee meeting to begin considering delegate selection plans ended with South Carolina Republicans removing one of the biggest remaining primary calendar question marks by setting a date for the party’s presidential primary next year.

That momentum has continued into this week. Primary calendar legislation has seen action elsewhere as well. But first, a look back at some leftovers from that DNC Rules and Bylaws Committee meeting.
