Pollsters setting pre-debate baselines and a closer look at North Carolina

Today is the presidential debate hosted by ABC.

Monday (and early Tuesday morning) witnessed a host of pollsters trying to get a last round of pre-debate polling in to set a baseline for the aftermath. And the majority of the swing state surveys released coming out of the weekend focused on the southeast.
