DNC Rules and Bylaws Committee Meeting answers some 2024 questions, raises others
Yes, Iowa was on the agenda, but so were RCV and New Hampshire
Recently the DNC Rules and Bylaws Committee convened in St. Louis as part of the national party’s fall meeting to deal with a few loose ends in the review of state delegate selection plans as 2024 approaches. The calendar dominated the headlines coming out of the meeting because of the players involved — Iowa and New Hampshire — but that did not mean that there were not fruitful and noteworthy discussions on other consequential topics. Importantly, fully a third of state delegate selection plans (19) are in full compliance.
