The Alabama Republican Party Executive Committee is scheduled to meet this weekend in Montgomery. And as is often the case at summer meetings in the year before a presidential election year, rules for delegate allocation in the Super Tuesday primary next year are on the agenda:

Another item that the Alabama State Republican Executive Committee will consider at Saturday’s meeting includes the 2024 Presidential Primary Resolution, which will outline how Alabama’s presidential delegates will be apportioned in the Super Tuesday Primary on March 5, 2024.

But will there be any fundamental changes? And if so, in what direction will they trend?
