One last decision was made affecting the 2024 presidential primary calendar on Thursday before the first half of 2023 is officially in the books. And the decision by Governor Jared Polis to schedule the presidential primary in Colorado for Super Tuesday (more on that below) figures to be the final move before a holiday weekend that will bring to a close the first half of the year.

It has been a noisy six months, but most of the din has come from the chatter surrounding the states at the beginning of the calendar. Everything else after the pre-window period has been routine if not quiet.

But what is known about the calendar at this point? And what questions remain unanswered?
