Let’s see if I remember how to do this.

FHQ has spent September knee deep in research, trying to get ahead of the RNC’s October 1 deadline for state parties to submit 2024 delegate selection plans. Throw in a recent trip UW-Madison for a panel on the 2024 Republican presidential nomination race at the Election Research Center there and one has a recipe for falling behind.

But that does not mean that the gears have not been turning with respect to the presidential primary calendar or the rules of delegate allocation as they will exist for the 2024 cycle. There is a lot to catch up on. Let’s dig in.
