2024 Primary Calendar and Rules Updates for May 3 -- Hawaii, Iowa, Kansas & Mississippi

Deadline day for Democratic delegate selection plans did not disappoint. While all 13 unreported states and territories did not flood the zone with last minute draft delegate selection plans, three additional plans did come on line. And one, Iowa, may have raised more questions than it answered, but the state party seems to have given itself some room to maneuver and potentially avoid the wrath of DNC sanctions. Nevertheless, these are all just starting positions for every state party. These plans have to be approved by the national party and most likely will change in ways both big and small in the coming months.
